Patty's Kitchen
Well, last Thursday Katie and I made the trek over the state line into Idaho for some tasty Mexican food at Patty's Mexican Kitchen. And tasty it was! I had yummy shredded beef tacos traditional style - that is with cilantro, onions and lime. My mouth is watering now thinking about them (forget the wings I was craving earlier, maybe I need Patty's again). Patty's is truly a little treasure made up of a main shack like area surrounded by temporary tent-like structures and tons of outdoor seating. We chose a nice pic-a-nic table outside and watched the afternoon's storm roll in. Our lunch we discussed very important things such as shopping and Katie's research on e.coli. Now, you might think that talking about e.coli while biting into your shredded beef taco might be off-putting, but not so! In fact, I think that I felt a little more comforted while eating my cow that I have such a rockstar friend who studies such things. Though I do feel a little bad for the cows that have to be infected...as long as they don't end up in my tacos...
